Willie Schneider was born on June 19, 1991 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Attending Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, Minnesota, Willie Schneider started on both sides of the ball, at tight end and linebacker. He helped lead Cretin-Derham Hall to a 25-2 record over his last two seasons and to Class 5A state semifinal berth in 2008 and a runner-up finish in 2007. He was voted team captain as a senior. His senior year he recorded 72 tackles, three tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles on defense. On offense he caught seven receptions and three touchdowns.

In 2009, Willie Schneider redshirted and did not see any action.
