Vince Hill arrives at the University of Minnesota as a freshman from Milford Academy in New Berlin, New York. At Milford Academy, Hill contributed to the Falcons' 11-1 record. Individually, Hill had 22 receptions for 332 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Previous to Milford Academy, Vince Hill played for Friendly High School in Fort Washington, Maryland. In 2006, Hill's Patriots football team a perfect 14-0 record and captured the 2006 Maryland Class 3A state title. Vince Hill recorded 67 receptions and 22 touchdowns as a senior. He also set the state of Maryland's public school record with 43 career touchdowns.

After initially committing to Virginia, Vince Hill decided to attend the University of Minnesota. University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football Coach Brewster plans to take advantage of this young player's speed and ability to catch the ball. Go Gophers!

While Vince Hill signed with the Gopher football team in 2008, he left Minnesota to play as the Temple Owls wide receiver.
