Tracy Claeys is the defensive coordinator for the University of Minnesota football program.

Claeys has been an assistant coach under head coach Jerry kill for the last 16 years. He started his coaching career at Santa Fe Trail high School in 1994 and joined Kill in 1995. In 1999 Claeys became Kill's defensive coordinator at Emporia State. Claeys continued with Kill when Kill took over at Southern Illinois and, later, Northern Illinois.
