Peter Mortell attended Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay Wisconsin. He helped lead the Tritons to a 5-5 record as a senior. He was ranked the 8th best punter in the country. He was selected to the all conference team and averaged 45 yards a punt during his senior season. Earned all conference honors as a receiver and defensive back after receiving 8 touchdowns and catching two interceptions. Peter Mortell will be a freshman at the University of Minnesota next season.
