Lee Campbell was born on August 11, 1988 and hails from Naples, Florida.

Campbell is a 2006 graduate of Gulf Coast High School where he had an impressive football career. Campbell recorded 151 tackles with 29 tackles-for-loss, 4 sacks, 8 forced fumbles, and 1 interception in 2005 alone. This record earned him many honors, perhaps the biggest of which was Winged Foot Award as the top scholar-athlete in Collier County.

Additionally, Lee Campbell participated in high school wrestling where, during his senior year, he was undefeated and won the state title.

During Lee Campbell's 2006 freshman season with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team, he played in 10 games and recorded 9 solo tackles.

Campbell's 2007 Gophers football season had him starting all 12 games, one of only 3 Gophers to do so for Minnesota's defense. He also was the 8th ranking Gophers football team member for total tackles.

Lee Campbell has a bright future for his 2008 junior season with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team.
