Kyle Dykstra was born on March 19, 1991 in Princeton, Minnesota.

At Princeton High School, Kyle Dykstra was an Academic all-state selection and earned his team’s Iron Man Award. As a senior he was named the Princeton Tigers’ top lineman and served as a team captain. He was coached by Scott Walquist.

In 2009, Kyle Dykstra was redshirted and did not see any action.
