Graduating from Lancaster High School, Kerry Lewis recorded 6 interceptions, recovered 2 fumbles, forced three fumbles, and recorded 108 tackles for the season. As captain of his team both his junior and senior year, Kerry Lewis took his team to the district finals, where they won the championship.

Currently, Scouts.com ranks Kerry Lewis as the number 24 safety in the country. Kerry Lewis accepted the University of Minnesota’s offer over other prestigious football colleges such as the Arizona Wildcats, Oklahoma Sooners, and Vanderbilt.
