Coming from College of the Canyons, Hayo Carpenter was ranked the number 1 junior college football player in the nation by Scout.com. As a wide receiver, Hayo Carpenter is leaving California with all but one of the schools receiving records.
Born on October 11, 1986 and the youngest of four siblings, Hayo Carpenter won the North Conference National Division Offensive Player of the Year. At 5’11” tall and 185 lbs, Hayo Carpenter is fast and elusive especially when given a little space to run. Hayo Carpenter chose the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers over schools like San Diego State and Arizona State.
In 2009, Hayo Carpenter saw action in 10 games during his first season at Minnesota. e proved to be a valuable asset in the return game, bringing back three kicks for 88 yards, with a long of 41. He also rushed once for 11 yards and two receptions for 43 yards.
