DeLeon Eskridge was born December 19, 1989 and graduated from Junipero Serra High School in San Fransisco, California. Over the course of DeLeon Eskridge’s high school career, he became the school’s all-time leader in touchdowns scored, breaking the record previously held by NFL Hall of Famer Lynn Swann.

DeLeon Eskridge earned many honors during his high school career, being named to the All-Daily team and honorable mention All-Metro by the San Francisco Chronicle. DeLeon Eskridge was also a track star who marked times of 11.0 in the 100 and 21.8 in the 200.

Eskridge joins the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team as a light and quick sprinter who is ranked as the number 7 running back in California and the number 2 back in northern California by Superprep.
