David Pittman was born on March 26, 1988 and his father, Danny Pittman, was also a football player with Pasadena City College.
David Pittman graduated from Brookwood High School in Brookwood, Georgia. During his high school football career, David Pittman helped propel the Brookwood High School team to the 2005 Georgia Class 5A state championship game and a 14-1 record.
David Pittman attended Pasadena City College where he started for two seasons as quarterback. During this time, Pittman led the California Community College system in passing over both years. By the time Pittman completed his two years at Pasadena, he had an unbelievable 556 completions for 6,346 yards and 61 touchdowns and set almost all of the college’s records.
David Pittman joins the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team as one of the top junior college athletes in the nation. David Pittman received top rankings from Rivals.com and Scout.
University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football Coach Tim Brewster signed David Pittman in December 2007 and looks to groom Pittman for the starting quarterback position for the 2008 University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football season.
