Dan Orseke is a Punter for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. Graduating from Brother Rice High School in Chicago, Illinois, Dan Orseke was named a two-tome All-Area selection and was a three-year starting punter for Brother Rice High School. ESPN.com and Scouts, Inc. ranked the young punter as the Number 24 kicker in the nation and Rivals.com named him the Number 32 kicker in the nation. Both Rivals and Scout gave him a two-star ranking.

A composed and strong punter, Dan Orseke has proven that he can handle high-pressure kicks and has a strong ability to hang the ball high so that returns are kept to a minimal. Dan is looking forward to lots of game time in TCF Bank Stadium and can not wait to see the field.
