Damien White was born on May 11, 1989 in Culver City, California. He played high school football at Culver City High School (California) before graduating and joining the University of Minnesota Gopher football team in 2007.
Damien White played high school football under Tom Salter and attained several career highlights, including the Thomas Hart Award as the Offensive Player of the Year. White was a first-team all-conference performer, as the sure-handed receiver made 64 catches for 1,166 yards with 14 touchdowns in 2006. White also used his speed on kickoff returns, where he garnered 382 yards and a huge average of 31.8 yards per return.
Damien White was also a superb track athlete, as he was named the MVP of the team.
Although he was redshirted for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football 2007 season, Damien White may see playing time for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers 2008 football season.
