Cameron Botticelli grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

At Marquette University High School, Cameron Botticelli earned first-team all-state honors from the Associated Press and Wisconsin Football Coaches Association. He was also named first-team all-conference, all-area and all-region, while helping his team to a 2009 Division I state championship and a 14-0 record. Cameron Botticelli was named area Player of the Year by Time-Warner Cable after recordeding 121 tackles, 10 sacks, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries as a senior.

In 2010, it will be Cameron Botticelli's freshman season with the Minnesota Gophers. He redshirted during the 2010 season.
