Brandon Kirksey was born June 22, 1989 and will enter the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team as a freshman from St. Lous, Missouri. Kirksey graduated from Hazelwood East High School and was a top football player in the Suburban North League. As a stand-out football athlete, Brandon Kirksey established himself as a leader on the Hazelwood East football team. He recorded 69 tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries. Kirksey's impressive abilities earned him first team all-state honors from the Missouri Football Coaches Association.

Brandon Kirksey will be a solid addition to the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team under the leadership of Gophers football Coach Tim Brewster.
