Brandon Haney graduated from DeForest High School in 2009, and was a four-year letterwinner for the Norskies. Haney was named to Badger North all-conference second-team for three seasons and was a three-year letterwinner in basketball, as well as a letterwinner in track and field one season.

Haney is a trasnfer student from St. Cloud State University, and hopes to get some game play during this football season with the Gophers.
