Alex Bisch grew up in Northfield, Minnesota. Attending Northfield High School, he was a 2-time All-Conference and All-Metro selection. He also earned honorable mention all-state honors following both his junior and senior seasons. Alex Bisch was named team MVP and team captain in 2009. Playing both sides of the ball, he tallied 443 yards on 17 receptions and racked up 85 tackles, seven tackles for loss, eight sacks and seven pass break-ups as a senior. notched four catches for 120 Helped lead team to 18-7 record over his final two seasons of high school, including a state runner-up finish in 2008.

Bisch redshirted the 2010 season.
