- The Insight Bowl, is played annually in Tempe Arizona at the Sun Devil Stadium. The 2009 Insight Bowl will be played on New Years Eve, December 31st . This year the Insight Bowl Game will match up the Big 10 Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Big 12 Iowa State Cyclones. Both teams have former Insight Bowl Game experience, the Minnesota Golden Gophers have appeared in the Insight Bowl the past two years and the Iowa State Cyclones saw the Insight Bowl in 2000. Although the Minnesota Golden Gophers have played in the Insight Bowl, the Iowa State Cyclones have racked up a win there, making them a tough competitor.
The Gopher Football team will have to fight hard to walk away with the title of 2009 Insight Bowl Champion. Don't miss your chance to escape the Midwest cold and snow to see two great football teams compete at the 2009 Insight Bowl!
